INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Voted on by the conference's head coaches and released at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, Oakland University Volleyball was picked to finish sixth in the 2023 Under Armour #HLVB Preseason Poll.

Having won two of the last three league titles and receiving nine of the 10 first-place votes, the Wright State Raiders were picked to win the conference, followed by the Northern Kentucky Norse, who took home the other first-place nod.

Rounding out the top-five were the Green Bay Phoenix, Milwaukee Panthers and Cleveland State Vikings.

This marks the second consecutive year the Golden Grizzlies have been picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll, and the top-six schools in the 2023 regular season standings will make the Horizon League Tournament in November.
