INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Seven Oakland University Track & Field student-athletes have been named to the 2023 Valeo #HLTF Outdoor All-Academic Teams as announced by the Horizon League on Tuesday.

Grace Nolan and Ashley Quinn join the Women's All-Academic Team following their Indoor All-Academic distinctions earlier in the year. Nolan took second overall in both the Women's 5,000m and 10,000m races while Quinn was third in the Women's 800m at the Outdoor #HLTF Championships.

Jennifer Ohlsson and Payton Sabourin were Honorable Mention honors with the former of the two improving from 19th a year ago to third overall in the Women's 3,000m Steeplechase at the #HLTF Championships while Sabourin took home the win in both the Women's 400m Hurdles and Women's 4x100m Relay at the event.

After defending his Men's 3,000m Steeplechase title, Trey Plichta received the Golden Grizzlies' only men's All-Academic honor while two more, Justin Kudera and Gabe Singh, were on the Honorable Mention listing. 

Kudera finished the #HLTF Championships with a runner-up performance in the Men's 400m and a championship in the Men's 4x100m Relay along with Singh who was a member of the first-place Men's 4x400m Relay squad and a runner-up in the Men's 400m Hurdles. Singh was also a Indoor All-Academic honorable mention team member.
