Women's Golf Finishes Second at #HLGolf Championships

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. – Oakland University Women's Golf finished runner-up in the 2023 #HLGolf Championships at the 5,960-yard Las Colinas Course.

All-Tournament team performance by freshman Bridget Boczar spearheaded the way for Oakland with a third-place in 225, plus-nine over the 72-par course. Next was Grace Boczar who jumped up five spots to a tie for sixth in 229 (+13).

Emily Fleming finished in a tie for eleventh at 232 (+16) while her teammates, Nateda Her and Paige Scott, rounded out scoring for the Golden Grizzlies in a tie for 24th and a tie for 33rd with cards of 240 (+24) and 256 (+40), respectively.

Oakland finished with a plus-62 score of 926, just behind Green Bay who won the team title in 915 (+50). The Golden Grizzlies jumped up one spot to second over Cleveland State in third, scoring 928 (+64).
