ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies saw impressive performances on the court this week as both men's and women's basketball went a combined 3-0 with the help of
Isaiah Jones from the men's side, and
Kianni Westbrook from women's, both good to take home this week's OU Prairie Farms Student-Athletes of the Week honors.

Jones had a career day en route to the Golden Grizzlies fifth-place finish at the Cayman Islands Classic last week (Nov. 19-21). In a 78-71 win against Marshall, Jones recorded his first career double-double with a season-high 16 points and career-high 10 boards. Jones shot an impressive 70.0% from the field (7-of-10) with one from range and added on two assists and one steal. The 6-7 sophomore finished the tournament averaging nearly 10 points per game and recorded 22 total rebounds.

On the women's side, Westbrook, a graduate student out of Augusta, Ga., was one of seven Golden Grizzlies to record double-digit points in a 122-38 win against Madonna with 14 and t-2nd for most amongst the team. Westbrook was a stellar 7-of-8 from the field and tied the game-high with seven rebounds. Westbrook dished the ball well with three assists in the Golden Grizzlies second-straight 110+ point win as the women's basketball team had 110+ point win in back-to-back games for the first time in school history.
