Quinn and Harrell Receive Nike #HLTF Track Athletes of the Week Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Oakland University Men's and Women's Track & Field athletes Ashley Quinn and Eddie Harrell III took Nike #HLTF Women's and Men's Runner of the Week honors on Tuesday.

Quinn broke the program record in the Women's Mile with a sub-5 minute time of 4:55.53 for the fastest time in the Horizon League by over six seconds. This is Quinn's second runner of the week honor, previously receiving the weekly award on December 13.

Harrell won the Men's 400m dash in University Center with a league-leading mark of 48.96 seconds to topple the standing #HLTF mark of 48.97 seconds also set by Oakland back on December 9.

The two-day PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational lies ahead for the Golden Grizzlies this weekend, January 27-28 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
