INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Oakland University Men's Basketball Senior Jalen Moore has been named Nike #HLMBB Player of the Week by the Horizon League as announced on Monday.

Moore contributed to a two-game win streak over the weekend for the Golden Grizzlies at home to get them back into the win column after an eight-game drought. He delivered a season-high eight assists against Milwaukee on Thursday, and then topped it off with another season-high 25 points against Green Bay on Saturday to help secure the wins. 

The Cloverdale native is the Horizon League assist leader averaging 6.1 assists per game with a tally of 73 assists for the 2022-23 season. With these attributes, Moore is nationally ranked for his outstanding work on the court and continues to climb the NCAA men's basketball standings ranking 10th in the division for assists per game, as well as 31st for overall assists on the season tied with Umoja Gibson (DePaul) and Cameron Parker (Portland State).
