YEAR IN REVIEW: A CHAMPIONSHIP-WORTHY 2021-22

It was a year filled with winning and the hardware that comes with it for Golden Grizzly sports teams. Men's Soccer, Women's Golf, Softball, and both Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving finished their respective seasons as Horizon League Champions. The illustrious swimming and diving program were crowned Horizon League champions, marking the 44th consecutive conference title for the Men's team, and the 28th for the Women's team.

On top of team success, individual OU athletes thrived as well. Thomas Giroux became the first golfer in Oakland history to qualify for the NCAA national championships. To add more credentials to her exceptional college career, Susan LaGrand advanced to her second straight NCAA championships, placing 26th in the 200 back.

Below we highlight the greatest achievements from each OU athletic team from their most recent season.
