ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University Women's Basketball and Head Coach
Jeff Tungate have announced the addition of Alexis Johnson, Southfield native and Marshall University transfer, to the 2022-23 roster.
"We are excited to have Alexis join our program. She is an extremely hard worker who brings a lot of energy to the court," said Tungate, "She is a great student and someone we are expecting to make an immediate impact."
Johnson played in 27 games for the Thundering Herd averaging 3.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest with a career-high 18 points coming against NCAA Division II opponent Alderson Broaddus in 25 minutes of action.
The Southfield High School for the Arts & Technology grad qualified as a two-time Conference USA Academic Medalist and Conference USA Commissioner Honor Roll with her work in the classroom.
