HUGH-PLOTT NAMED HORIZON LEAGUE NIKE #HLTF FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Alex Hugh-Plott was named this week's Horizon League Nike #HLTF Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for the first time this outdoor season.

At the Penn Relays, Hugh-Plott finished fourth overall in the College Men's High Jump with the best height in the Horizon League all weekend at 2.09m (6'10.25") which is half an inch off his best this season as the Grand Rapids native is first in the conference in that event.

The 2022 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be at the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Complex in Rochester, Michigan as the Golden Grizzlies seek team and individual titles.
