SHAHZAN NAMED TO 2022 #HLGOLF ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Oakland University Women's Golf's Amalia Shahzan was named to the 2022 #HLGOLF All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office on Monday.

This is Shahzan's first All-Academic honor after posting a 3.62 grade point average as an Integrative Studies major who would card an average of 75.6.

Shahzan finished first at the 2022 #HLGOLF Championships in Howey in the Hills, Florida to lead the Golden Grizzlies to its first NCAA Regional appearance for the first time since 2016 in the Ann Arbor Regional.

While at the U-M Golf Course, the Kedah, Malaysia native finished tied for 39th with a score of 228 (80-76-72) over the three day event to finish plus-15 over 71 par on the 6265 yard course.
