TERRENCE BROOKS JR GARNERS #HLTF ATHLETE OF THE WEEK HONORS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Oakland University Track & Field sophomore Terrence Brooks Jr. has been named Nike #HLTF Runner of the Week announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Brooks aided the Golden Grizzlies to a seventh-place finish at the Colonial Relays at William & Mary last weekend as the Clinton Township native posted a league-leading 1:52.16 in the Men's 800m race which is 2.5 seconds faster than the second-place athlete (from Oakland too) and more than 3.5 seconds faster than third place.

The Golden Grizzlies host their first home meet of the season on April 8-9 in Rochester for the Golden Grizzlies Invitational.
