ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University Softball and Baseball athletes Lauren Griffith and Brad Goulet were named Prairie Farms Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday as both teams secured series wins over the weekend.

Griffith finished the UIC series 5-9 from the plate as the Golden Grizzlies went 2-1 through the three game series. In game two, the Grove City, Ohio native was a perfect 3-3 with four RBI, two runs and two home runs to right center and left field. This is the 10th time in program history a player has hit a program-high two home runs in a game. This comes on the heels of Griffith's solo HR to left field in the top of the seventh in game one as the redshirt junior now has four on the year.

Goulet knocked two homers and four RBI in the team's weekend wins over Northern Illinois in non-conference action after going 7-12 from the plate with six runs. His two home runs are the most the Cottage Grove, Minnesota native has hit in a series this season, his sixth overall, as Goulet was on a four-game home run streak.
