ROCHESTER, Mich. – Four Oakland University Track & Field athletes will make their way to the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to compete in a variety of distance events April 15-16.

Connor Goetz and Yami Albrecht will take to the oval for the Men's 5,000m race. Albrecht is coming off a 14:58.47 performance at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational last weekend while Goetz has the number one 10,000m time in the Horizon League and the school record in 29:15.70 set at the Raleigh Relays.

Senior Rachel Kempf will also give an attempt in the Women's 5,000m race with the fourth-best conference time going into the 12 and a half laps in 17:22.83 that she set at the 2022 Colonial Relays on the campus of William & Mary.

Lastly, Maddi Leigh will toe the line in the Women's 800m as she looks to continue to grow her lead in the Horizon League from her 2:13.58 mark from the Colonial Relays as well.
