TRACK HEADS TO WILLIAM & MARY FOR COLONIAL RELAYS

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University Track & Field teams continue their outdoor season as they travel to Williamsburg, Virginia for the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary on April 1-2. 

Connor Goetz made headlines for OU during the Raleigh Relays last weekend with a new school record time in the Men's 10,000m run at 29:15.70 while Jimmie Williams continued his dominance in the sprints, stealing the top Horizon League times in both the Men's 200m and 400m.

Maddi Leigh and Ashley Quinn are now one and two in the league's leaderboard in the Women's 800m after the weekend while Ellie Voetberg, the reigning newcomer of the year from the indoor campaign, is second in the Women's 5000m. 

Just like the women's side, Terrence Brooks Jr. and William Harrell III are first and second, respectively, in the Men's 800m for the Horizon League as Alex Hugh-Plott commands the top spot in the Men's High Jump at 2.05m (6'8.75").

Lastly, Rose Philogene now has the second-fastest time in the Women's 100m Hurdles in school history following a 14.10 second performance over the weekend.
