MUNCIE, Ind. – Amalia Shahzan finished third at the Cardinal Classic after totaling 222 (+6) for the tournament. Oakland finished in 11th, scoring 936 (+72).
Shahzan recorded two birdies in the final round and carded 75, 69, 78 for the tournament.
Emily Fleming finished with 76, 83, 76, and t-37th, while Veronica Haque recorded 80,83, 78, finishing t-57th.
Sydney Martens and Nateda Her finished the tournament tied for 64th with scores of 243 (+27).
Oakland finished two strokes behind Dayton and directly ahead of tournament host Ball State. The Golden Grizzlies will host their only home tournament from Sept. 26-27.
