CLEVELAND -  Nirva Patel dropped a hard-fought three-set match to Blache Lenoan, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, 1-0, at the No. 2 singles position while Mia Melnizki pushed Klara Vasliescu before falling, 7-5, 6-4, at the No. 3 singles spot as Oakland fell 7-0 in Horizon League action at Cleveland State on Saturday at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

After CSU took the doubles point, the Vikings went on the win the remaining singles match in straight sets to win the match.

Due to a shortened roster this season, Oakland has to start each competition with a forfeit at the No. 3 doubles position and an additional forfeit at the No. 6 singles position.

Oakland and Cleveland State will play the final dual match on Easter Sunday, Apr. 4 at 1 p.m.
