CHICAGO - Yasmin Glazbrook dropped a hard-fought match against Tamara Malazonia before falling 6-3, 7-5, at the No. 1 singles position as Oakland closed out the 2012 season with a 7-0 setback at UIC on Sunday.

Glazbrook and Nirva Patel trailed 5-3 in doubles against Anges Gustafsson and Marina Hermanny at the No. 1 spot but their match was left unfinished as the Flames claimed the doubles point for a 1-0 lead. 

UIC then went on to win all the singles matches in straight sets to secure the win.

Due to a shortened roster consisting of only five student-athletes this season, Oakland has to start each competition with a forfeit at the No. 3 doubles position and an additional forfeit at the No. 6 singles position.
