ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Oakland's men's and women's track teams had strong distance performances at the final day of the Adidas Winthrop Invitational. Connor Goetz took first place in the men's 1500 with a time of (3:59.23) followed by Yami Albrecht in second place (4:00.89), Chandler Lorf in 10th (4:09.11), Colin Kane in 12th (4:10.00) and Adam Hill in 13th (4:11.66). 

Maddi Leigh placed fourth in the 1500 (4:44.64) followed by Megan Nichols in sixth (4:47.34), Maryam Sheena in seventh (4:48.62) and Ashley Quinn in 10th (4:54.05). 

The Golden Grizzlies continue their competition Mar. 31 at Detroit Mercy.
