ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's and women's track and field teams head to High Point University to compete in their first meet of the season at the Bill Webb Combined Events & Bob Davidson Memorial Invite. 

The Golden Grizzlies are coming off great results at the Horizon League Indoor Championships. Jimmie Williams swept the competition, taking first place in all three events he ran while the men's 4x400 team made up of Raydoffa Braziel, Justin Kudera, Delan Wynn, and Williams won with a time of 3:20.05. Azsah Bradley took third in the 200m with a time of 25.38 while Megan Nichols took third in the 3000m (10:10.06). 

The competition begins Friday at noon.  

Participating teams: Appalachian State, Campbell, Charleston (W.V.), Delaware State, Elon, High Point, James Madison (Female only), Mars Hill (male only), NC A&T, North Carolina, Pfeiffer, St. Francis, Towson (Female only), VMI, and William and Mary
