ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams remain in first place after another strong showing on day two of the Horizon League Championships Thursday from the Oakland Aquatic Center.
Thursday's competition was highlighted by the women's squad going a perfect four-of-four on first place finishes in the finals rounds, including breaking two Horizon League records in the 200 IM and the 200 free relay.
Susan LaGrand swam to a Horizon League record in the 200 IM, in a time of 1:58.22 (NCAA B cut). Thursday's 200 IM race marked LaGrand's third race of the championships so far, and her third Horizon League record-breaking performance.
