Rochester, Mich. –The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished out the regular season on a high note as the Golden Grizzlies defeated Cleveland State 190-109 on the men's side, and 193-106 in women's competition.

Senior
Katie Colwell swam to three first place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:43.75) with teammates
Grace Shinske,
Sydney McDowell, and
Julia Cook, 100 free (51.78) and 50 free (23.73). Colwell also recorded a second place finish in the 400 free relay (3:32.74), with fellow seniors Shinske,
Kirstyn Abbasse and
Sara Heines.

In his regular season finale,
Micah DeJonge tallied two first place finishes of his own on the 500 Free (4:40.74) and 1000 free (9:41.12).

The men's and women's teams racked up a combined 21 first place finishes in addition to a strong showing in diving with two first place finishes.

Jordan Smith placed first in 1-meter with a score of 308.02, the only diver to break the 300-mark in 1-meter competition. On the women's side,
Bernie Turchi placed first in the 1-meter with a score of 249.67. Senior
Angelique Wise placed second in 1-meter competition, scoring 247.65.
