ROCHESTER, Mich. – Maggie Schneider, Olivia Kane and Rachel Levy will compete at the 2019 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship East Preliminary Round on May 23-25 hosted by North Florida and the Jacksonville Sports Authority at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. Schneider will compete in the 10k on Thursday, May 23 at 9 p.m. while Kane is slotted to compete in the women's pole vault on Friday, May 24 at 5 p.m. Levy will take on the 5k on Saturday, May 25 at 8:05 p.m.

Schneider, the reigning outdoor Horizon League Alfreeda Goff Athlete of the Year, will compete in the women's 10,000m after qualifying for the event at the 2019 Virginia Challenge. In the heat, Schneider ran the 10k in a time of 34:20.08 and not only broke the school record, but was the top collegiate finisher ranking at the top of the league.

Kane will compete in the women's pole vault in the East Preliminaries. Earlier this season, she took first place in both the indoor and outdoor league championships breaking her own school record twice and currently holds the top mark in the event for the conference clearing 13 ft., 1.5 in.
 
Levy will compete in the 5000m race down in Jacksonville. She broke the school record and also holds the top mark in the conference with a time of 16:21.19. For the indoor season, Levy was named the 2019 Alfreeda Goff Athlete of the Year.
