Oakland University Athletics is set to host the fifth-annual Black and Gold Awards Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. inside the O'rena. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
The Black and Gold Awards serve as a celebration for Oakland's student-athletes to honor their accomplishments in competition, the classroom and in the community.
Some of this year's presenters include: Fox 2 news and Oakland alumnus Amy Andrews, 97.1 FM and Oakland alumni Mike Sullivan and Oakland University President Ora Pescovitz.
The show will be hosted by the Voice of the Golden Grizzlies, Neal Ruhl, and Oakland sideline reporter and in-house host Chelsea Estes.Â
Tuesday's event is open to the public and free to attend.
