ROCHESTER, Mich. -  The Golden Grizzlies Track and Field team are set to open up their outdoor season Mar. 22-23 at the High Point University Vertklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C. Competition on Friday will begin at 10 a.m. while events on Saturday is set for 9 a.m.
 
Live results will be available both days of competition, while Saturday's events beginning at 2:30 p.m. will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Oakland is looking to capitalize on the men's outdoor first place finish last year at the Horizon League Championships as they took first in league competition for the first time in program history, while the women's team finished in third. At the Horizon League Indoor Championships a month ago, both the men's and women's programs finished runner-up behind Youngstown State.
