CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded the CSCAA National Invitational Championship Saturday with the men finishing in sixth place (485.5), and the women placing ninth (282.5).

The Golden Grizzlies tallied a combined seven top ten finishes on the final day.

In the 100 IM,
Tony Eriksson placed fourth in the time of 49.86, while teammate
Colton Phelps finished 11
th in 51.18.

Paul Huch and
Rudy Aguilar raced in the 100 freestyle, with Huch finishing fifth (44.39), Aguilar placed 14
th finishing in 44.94.
Â
Ben Davis finished the 1650 freestyle in 15:42.78, good for seventh place.
Â
In the 400 free relay, the men's team of Aguilar,
Will Gayne, Eriksson and Huch placed fourth (2:57.28).

On the women's side,
Susan LaGrand and
Grace Shinske competed in the 200 backstroke. LaGrand led the way finishing seventh (1:58.08), while Shinske finished 11
th (1:59.01).

Katie Colwell raced to a 50.41 finish in the 100 freestyle, good for seventh place.

In the 200 breaststroke
Sydney McDowell placed eighth, touching the wall in 2:17.64, while teammate
Taylor Bailey finished in 2:19.25, placing her 19th.

The 400 free relay of Colwell, Marsh, Shinske and McDowell placed 12
th (3:25.42).
