CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams sit in sixth place with 303 points and 204.5 points respectively after day two of the CSCAA National Invitational Championship.

Mack Flowers tallied three top 10 finishes on the night, including two fourth place finishes in the 800 freestyle relay (6:35.59), and the 200 medley relay (1:28.16).
Rudy Aguilar,
Ben Davis, and
Paul Huch made up the free relay team with Flowers, while
Will Gayne,
Tony Eriksson and Huch joined Flowers in the 200 medley relay. Flowers also finished ninth in the 100 butterfly, touching the wall in 48.73.

Aguilar added an individual fourth place finish of his own in the 200 free in a person-best time of 1:36.55.

Freshman
Colton Phelps swam a personal best in the 400 IM, touching the wall in 3:57.11, good for 13
th.

Senior
Tony Eriksson capped off his outstanding career for the Golden Grizzlies with a personal best in the 100 breaststroke finishing eighth in 54.16.

On the women's side,
Susan LaGrand placed ninth in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 55.49. The freshman was a member of the 200 medley relay with teammates
Taylor Bailey,
Grace Shinske and
Katie Colwell, finishing eighth in 1:41.80.

The Golden Grizzlies return the pool tomorrow for the third and final day with prelims beginning at 9:30 a.m., finals starting at 6 p.m.
