
SATURDAY'S RESULTS | COMPLETE RESULTS 
INDIANAPOLIS – Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams were crowned 2019 Horizon League Champions after the four day competition concluded Saturday from IU Natatorium. It was the 41
st consecutive championship for the men, and the 25
th straight for the women.
 
The Golden Grizzlies tallied eight first place finishes on Saturday including a Horizon League record from freshman 
Susan LaGrand in the 200 backstroke in 1:56.74.
 
Will Gayne earned another individual title on the week, placing first in the 200 backstroke in 1:44.63.
 
In the 100 freestyle, 
Katie Colwell swam to the top spot (49.80), while 
Paul Huch was the top finisher on the men's side in a time of 43.70.
 
Sydney McDowell swam to a first place finish in the 200 breaststroke in 2:14.74, while 
Tony Eriksson earned an individual title for the men in 1:59.13.
 
To conclude the competition, the 400 freestyle relay team of 
Karlee Marsh, 
Amber Lefler, LaGrand and Colwell placed first (3:22.58). The men's relay team of 
Ben Davis, Gayne, Eriksson and Huch also swam to a first place finish, touching the wall at 2:56.69.
