MIDLAND, Mich. – The Oakland tennis team swept Saginaw Valley State, 7-0 Sunday from the Greater Midland Tennis Center for its second straight win.
 
In doubles play, Oakland's Ava Thielman and Darya Maltseva won in the no. 1 spot, 7-5 while Samantha Galloway and Sofia Borcuti took the no. 2 doubles win, 6-1.
 
Oakland swept singles play, earning the final six points to take the 7-0 win over the Cardinals.
 
The Golden Grizzlies will travel to Florida Feb. 19 through Feb. 22 to take on Stetson, Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M over spring break.
