RESULTS

ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Northwestern Friday night 200-100 and 206-93 respectively.
 
Senior Katie Colwell led the way for the Golden Grizzlies tallying two first place finishes in the 50 (23.48) and 100 free (51.33). Colwell also added two second place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:42.53) and the 400 free relay (3:25.79).
 
Teammates Grace Shinske, Sydney McDowell and Susan LaGrand accompanied Colwell in the 200 medley relay while Sohvi Nenonen, LaGrand and Emily Aycock were part of the second place 400 relay.
 
On the men's side Rudy Aguilar earned the top spot in the 400 free relay with teammates Christian Bart, Mack Flowers and Marko Khotynetskyi in a time of 3:02.36. Aguilar went on to tally three second place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:30.96), 200 free (1:39.89) and 100 free (45.84).
 
The Golden Grizzlies are back in the pool tomorrow as they welcome league foe UIC to the Oakland Aquatic Center beginning at 1 p.m.
