ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland men's soccer team continues Horizon League play at Wright State on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast live from Alumni Field at Rinzler Stadium on ESPN+.

-Oakland (4-3-1, 2-0-1 HL) is 6-4-2 over the last 12 matches against Wright State (5-3-1, 1-1 HL). During last season's match up, the then No. 23 ranked Raiders notched a 2-0 road win at Oakland.

-The last time out in league play,
Spencer Nolff scored his first goal of the season off assists from
Dawsun Schrum and
Dylan Borczak as Oakland played arch-rival Detroit Mercy to a 1-1 double overtime draw last week. The Golden Grizzlies remain unbeaten at 4-0-2 against the Titans since the inception of the Metro Series in 2014.

Evan Sawula lead the team in goals (3) which is tied for sixth in the league. They each rank second (8) and third (6) respectively on the team in points.

-Borczak leads the team and league in assists (6) and leads the team in points (10) which also ranks sixth in the league. He scored a goal with a season-high in assists (2) and points (3) in Oakland's 5-1 win at Robert Morris (8/30) along with the equalizer to rally the Golden Grizzlies from a two-goal deficit to a 2-2 draw at Bradley (9/8).

Frank Jones,
Noah Jensen and Wilde ranking third (2).

Charlie Braithwaite leads the team in game-winning goals (2) which is fourth in the league. His game winners came against Green Bay and Robert Morris.

-As a team, Oakland ranks second in conference in points (51) and assists (21) while ranking third in goals (15).
-Nine different players have accounted for 15 total goals and 10 different players have recorded 21 assists through nine games this season.
-Oakland recorded a 3-0 shutout win at Green Bay in which Braithwaite, Sawula and Borczak each scored a goal over a seven-minute span in the first half. Bentley recorded two assists from his defensive position with
Cameron Wilde, Borczak and
Noah Jensen also adding an assist.

Sullivan Lauderdale recorded his second shutout of the season in league play at Green Bay earning Nike Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week.

-Sawula scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute to give Oakland a 1-0 home opening Horizon League win over Cleveland State (9/14).

-In the season opener, Oakland rolled to a 5-1 win at Robert Morris (8/30) as five players each scored a goal led by Borczak with a goal and two assists recording four points. Wilde and
Mikey Ketteman each scored their first career goals while transfer
Charlie Braithwaite notched his first goal in a Golden Grizzlies' uniform.
Dawsun Schrum also rounded out the scoring with a second half tally.

Demir Muftari return to the coaching staff. Both helped Oakland to the program's first Horizon League regular season and tournament championships in 2014. The team went on to defeat Kentucky in the opening round of the NCAA Championships marking the second time the Golden Grizzlies advanced to the second round of the College Cup
