
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Jaimie Leas recorded her third shutout of the season leading Oakland to a 0-0 double overtime draw against Horizon League leader Milwaukee on Senior Day. The Golden Grizzlies are the only team to earn a point against the Panthers in league play which in turn clinched a spot in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament.

Sierra Grodsinsky each recorded a shot on goal as Oakland (6-6-3, 4-2-2 HL) outshot Milwaukee (14-1-1, 7-0-1 HL) 11-8 overall.
In the 63rd minute of the second half, Oakland appeared to get on the board first as
Alexa Sabbagh headed a deflected cross into the back on the net for a 1-0 lead. However, the Golden Grizzlies were called for a foul away from the play inside the box which negated the goal.
After the match, the team honored seniors

Sierra Grodsinsky and Thalheimer for their hard work and dedication to the program.
Oakland concludes the regular season at UIC on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
