ROCHESTER, Mich. – The men's and women's swimming teams placed first with 716 and 682 points respectively Saturday at the inaugural Golden Grizzly Relays from the Oakland Aquatic center.
 
Mack Flowers raced to four first place finishes in the 200 medley relay, 300 butterfly relay, 400 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
 
Susan LaGrand finished first in four races including the 200 medley relay, 300 butterfly relay, 400 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
 
The Oakland men and women swam to a combined 16 first place finishes out of 20 events.
 
The women will travel to Toledo to take on the Rockets Friday, Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
