INDIANAPOLIS – Rachel Levy has been named Horizon League Runner of the Week for the week of Jan. 14-20 announced by the league office Tuesday.

This past weekend at the Indiana University Gladstein Invite Levy broke her own school record in the women's 3000m run with a time of 9:37.77, placing first, and making it her fourth consecutive meet with a first place finish. At the conclusion of her race, her time in the 3000m ranked 14th in the NCAA as well as first in the conference. Levy's award is the first of the indoor season for the Golden Grizzlies. 

Oakland will travel to Eastern Michigan University for the Can-Am International meet Jan. 26.
