ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland women's golf team will begin its fall season at the NKU Fall Classic hosted by Northern Kentucky Monday, Sept. 10 through Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Elks Run Golf Club. The 54-hole tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day, with 36 holes being played Monday and the final 18 holes played on Tuesday.
The Golden Grizzlies will be playing in the tournament for the third-straight season and placed runner-up in 2017.
Oakland returns three all-league performers from a season ago in
Alexis Jones, last year's freshman of the year,
Veronica Haque, who placed runner-up at the league championships, and
Maddelyn Zack. Head coach
Alyssa Gaudio enters her fifth year with the Golden Grizzlies, having been named the Horizon League Coach of the Year three out of the last four seasons.
