ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The men's and women's swimming and diving  teams concluded the weekend in Ann Arbor with an exhibition relay-only meet Saturday at Canham Natatorium .
 
Saturday's meet, hosted by the University of Michigan was an effort to raise awareness for Type 1 diabetes and featured 10-time Olympic medalist Gary Hall Jr. While training for the 2000 Sydney Olympics Hall was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, he spoke to Saturday's crowd on living and competing with diabetes.
 
Oakland recorded three first place finishes on Saturday in the men's 200 medley, mixed 200 backstroke and men's 200 free.
 
The Golden Grizzlies will host their annual Black & Gold meet Friday, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. from the Oakland Aquatic Center.
