BATAVIA, Ohio -- Maddelyn Zack shot a 72 (+1) to finish with a three-day score of 231 (+18) as the Oakland women's golf team wrapped up the final day of competition Tuesday afternoon at the NKU Fall Classic. Zack finished the tournament tied for 28th place.

Zaafina Naqvi carded a career low round of 74 (+2) to finish tied for 34th with a score of 234 (+21) while Alexis Jones, Veronica Haque and Elle Nichols each shot a 77 (+5) on the day. Jones finished the highest among Oakland players as she tied for 14th place with a score of 226 (+13), a new 54-hole career low.

As a team, Oakland recorded the second-lowest round of the day with a 300 (+16) and took fifth place overall with a three-day score of 921 (+69). The Golden Grizzlies will return to action at their home course when they host the 2018 Golden Grizzlies Invitational Sept. 24-25.
