Jesse Owens Day 1 Results | Virginia Challenge Day 1 Results

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Mary Moore placed 25th in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 42.61m at the Jesse Owens Track Classic, hosted by Ohio State University. In addition, Angela Ciaravino placed 25th in the javelin with a mark of 27.88m.

The Golden Grizzlies will resume competition in Columbus tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. with the women's shot put.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Andrew Bowman placed sixth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 8:53.17 at the Virginia Challenge while fellow senior Alana Koepf snagged the 19th place spot in the 10000m run with a time of 36:22.98.

Oakland will continue competition at the Virginia Challenge tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
