ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland softball team will take on Northern Kentucky for a midweek doubleheader Wednesday, April 18 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Frank Ignatius Grein Softball Field.

NOTES

> Haley Zemmer ranks second in the Horizon League in opposing batting average, holding hitters to just a .248 average.

> Zemmer is coming off another solid performance on the mound on April 13, by tossing her sixth complete game of the season with 8.0 innings pitched, allowing just one run and striking out three batters.

> Freshmen Chelsea Wiggins tossed an amazing 12.0 innings on April 13, allowing three runs on seven hits and struck out five batters in game two of Oakland's doubleheader against Wright State.

> Wiggins' 12.0 innings pitched was just shy of the single game school record of 12.2 set in 2000. The freshmen held the Raiders' hitters to just a .179 batting average and did not walk a single batter.

> In her last 16 at-bats, Kelsie Swanson has hit .563 with an on-base percentage of .611.
