RESULTS 

ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Katie Colwell swam to three first place finishes as the Oakland women's swimming and diving team split Saturday's tri-meet with Rutgers and Toledo. The Golden Grizzlies defeated Toledo 182-117, but fell to Rutgers, 184.50-115.50 from the Oakland Aquatic Center.
 
Colwell registered first place finishes in the 50 free (23.50), 100 free (51.82), 400 medley relay (3:30.13) and placed second in the 400 free relay (3:31.61).
 
Grace Shinske, Sydney McDowell and Susan LaGrand were all part of the first place 400 medley relay team.
 
The men's and women's swimming and diving teams will travel to UIC Friday, Nov. 2 and will continue league competition Saturday, Nov. 3 at Green Bay.
