MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Andrew Bowman won the 1-mile (4:21.19) and the 3000m (8:48.35) while Madison Leigh also placed first in the 1-Mile (5:09.53) and second in the 3000m (10:35.53) to lead the Oakland track and field team at the Jack Skoog Invite on Friday night.

Jimmie Williams won the 400m (49.71) and teamed up with Corey Goodloe, Andrew Storm and Tyler Brenner to win the 4x400m relay (3:26.73).

On the women's side, Andrea Koenigsknecht won the 800m (2:21.84) while Chanel Gardner claimed her second consecutive 400m (59.16) crown. The tandem also ran with Sydney Sterling and Jessica Krone to place first in the 4x400m relay (4:11.79). Maggie Schneider also won the 3000m (10:16.03).

Oakland travels to the Fort Wayne Duals on Saturday, Jan. 20.
