COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Krysteena Davis tied a school record 15 total blocks while Darien Bandel recorded 27 kills as the Oakland volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller to Lipscomb (3-1) Friday afternoon at the Sports Imports D.C. Koehl Classic hosted by Ohio State held at St. John Arena. Bandel's 27 kills is tied for fourth-most in a single match in program history. Davis tied Leah Dupuie's single game record set in 2007.

Defensively, Darrin Rice recorded a career high 30 digs, doubling her previous career high of 15. Jordan Lentz registered 52 assists and 16 digs. Oakland's 19 total blocks is third most in school history.

The Golden Grizzlies (3-2) will take on No. 20 Ohio State tomorrow at noon then face Missouri State at 6 p.m.
