Zach Sterry hit two home runs to go with three RBIs, scoring two runs as the Oakland baseball team dropped the final game in the series against East Tennessee State in 12 innings Wednesday night at Thomas Field.
Nate Schweers came into the game in the third inning and threw 4.2 innings allowing just three hits and striking out five batters. Tyler Pagano went yard in the first inning with a two-run shot and finished the game going 2-for-5 scoring two runs plus a double. Ben Hart and Myles Zilinsky each recorded a RBI in the fourth and seventh innings respectively.
The Golden Grizzlies will begin a weekend series at Eastern Kentucky Feb. 24-26 with first pitch on Friday scheduled for 2 p.m.
