Feb. 2, 2017 ROCHESTER, Mich - The Oakland men's and women's track and field teams head to Youngstown State this Friday and Saturday to compete in the National Mid-Major Double Duals. The meet begins Friday at 3 p.m. and resumes Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.

Meet notes
• At last year's meet, the men finished with a 2-6 dual mark and the women finished with a 3-7 dual mark. Both teams defeated Detroit.
• Corey Goodloe broke his own school record in the 400m, becoming the first runner in Oakland history to run under 49 seconds at an indoor meet. He broke his record again at the SVSU Jet's Pizza Invite last weekend.
• The women's 4x400m team of Andrea Koenigsknecht, Sydney Sterling, Elizabeth Girardot and Odette Ingall set a school record with a time of 3:53.36.
• The men's distance medley relay team of George O'Connor, Corey Goodloe, Chris Scott and Bryce Stroede placed first.
