INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland`s Chanel Gardner has been named Horizon League Runner of the Week announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Gardner, a freshman from Westland, Mich., placed first in the 400m out of 48 runners with a time of 59.41 and fifth in the 200m with a mark of 26.06 at the Tiffin Dragon Invite.
