ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's basketball team will face its first road contest of the season at Toledo Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. live on ESPN3 inside Savage Arena. The match-up can also be heard on WDFN-AM (1130) with Neal Ruhl (pxp) and Matt Dery (analyst) on the call. The game is a part of the Hoophall Miami Invitational
The Golden Grizzlies defeated New Orleans 87-68 last time out that saw Martez Walker record three career highs in field goals made (10), three-pointers made (six) and matched a career high in rebounds (seven).
ABOUT THE HOOPHALL MIAMI INVITATIONAL
The event will feature round robin play for five teams in a two-week span leading up to the main event at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami featuring a doubleheader matchup of Syracuse and Kansas, in addition to Miami and Princeton.
Teams scheduled to participate in this year's campus round games as part of the multi-team event are: Kansas (Big 12 Conference), Oakland (Horizon League), Syracuse (Atlantic Coast Conference), Texas Southern (Southwestern Athletic Conference) and Toledo (Mid-American Conference).

> After a 87-68 win over New Orleans on Nov. 13, the Golden Grizzlies improved to 2-0 after doing the same in 2016-17. It marked just the second time in the Division I era that Oakland had back-to-back 2-0 starts (2002-03 and 2003-04).
