MUNCIE, Ind. - Jake Kneen shot a second round 69 (-1) to finish in a tie for eighth place with a 145 (+5), while Evan Bowser is one stroke behind in a tie for 14th place with a 146 (+6) as the Oakland men's golf team finished the first day of action at the Earl Yestingsmeier Memorial Invitational from Delaware Country Club (par 70, 6,438 yards).

The Golden Grizzlies hold sixth place after the opening day of action with a 41-over-par 741 as this tournament is allowing six players on each team's roster and recording the top five scores.
