ATLANTA - Devon Nowicki finished an impressive freshman season by placing 31st in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:57.53) at the McAuley Aquatic Center at the 2016 NCAA Swimming Championships hosted by Georgia Tech. The All-American scored 13 points for Oakland, currently good for 27th in the team standings.
Nowicki became the first Golden Grizzly to score in a NCAA final and earn All-American honors since 2008 with his sixth place finish in the 100 breaststroke on March 25.
