ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's tennis team will travel to Chicago State University Friday, January 29 to continue their spring season. The Golden Grizzlies will take on the Cougars in Homewood, Illinois beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

In their last outing, Oakland dropped a match to Eastern Michigan 5-2. Oakland's Elizabeth Guy won the No. 2 singles in three sets 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5). Juliana Guevara took the No. 6 singles match in three sets as well 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.

Guevara leads the Golden Grizzlies with a 6-2 record in singles play. The doubles teams Celis/Guevara and Tamara Blum/Elizabeth Guy are 5-4 in doubles this season.
