Dec. 21, 2015 ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's basketball team (6-4) hosts IPFW in a mid-day game on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 12 p.m. The game will be broadcast live from the Blacktop at the O'rena on ESPN3 with Brad Golder on the call.

A LOOK AT THE DONS: IPFW (4-7) is coming off a 74-62 setback at Fairfield (Dec. 20). Senior guard Kamilah Carter leads the team in scoring (17.4 ppg) while junior guard Rachel Rinehart is tops on the team in assists (3.0 apg).
SERIES HISTORY: Oakland leads the all-time series against IPFW 14-8 winning the last meeting 92-84 exactly a year to the day on Dec. 22, 2014. The Golden Grizzlies hold a 9-3 record over IPFW at home and 5-5 road mark.
LAST TIME OUT: Taylor Jones poured in 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting including 3-of-6 from long range as the Oakland women's basketball team (6-4) defeated Chicago State, 74-51, (Dec. 19). Olivia Nash added 16 points with Taylor Gleason chipping in with 11 points. Defensively, the Golden Grizzlies held CSU to only six fourth quarter points to close out the game.
MAKING THE GRADE: In the 2015 fall semester, 12-of-15 members of the women's basketball team posted a 3.00 GPA or better.
HITTING THE BOARDS: Nash currently has 723 career rebounds needing only three more to move past Heather Bateman for 10th all-time in program history. Earlier this season, Nash became the 27th player in program history to surpass 1,000 points in the season opener against UM-Dearborn (Nov. 13).
MOVING ON UP: With her nine assists against Chicago State, Elena Popkey moved into a fifth place tie all-time in school history with 391 assists. She ranks second in the Horizon League in assists (5.8 apg).
SCORING MACHINE: The Golden Grizzlies led the league in field goal percentage (46.7%) and rank second in scoring offense (81.7 ppg) which also rank 17th and 21st nationally.
DROPPING DIMES: Oakland leads the HL and ranks 14th in the nation in assists-per-game (19.6 apg) and is also tops in the league in assist/turnover ratio (1.2 ave.).
