ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland men's basketball team will travel to the west coast on Saturday to face Washington starting at 4:30 p.m. ET from Alaska Airlines Arena. The game will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network with Kevin Calabro and Ben Braun on the call and also on WDFN 1130 AM with Neal Ruhl.

LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Grizzlies are coming off an impressive 76-64 win at Toledo last Saturday for their first victory inside Savage Arena since 1993. Kay Felder scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-13 shooting from the free-throw line, while Jalen Hayes recorded his second-straight double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

FELDER COLLECTS WEEKLY HONORS
Kay Felder earned his second Lou Henson Award National and Horizon League Player of the Week honors of the season and also the Mid-Major Madness Player of the Week after averaging 29.5 points, 6.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game against Toledo and Binghamton. He is the first player in the country to earn multiple Lou Henson National Player of the Week honors this season.

NCAA RANKINGS
The Golden Grizzlies rank 21st in the nation in points at 85.6, 23rd in free-throw shooting at 75.0 percent, 22nd in 3-point field goal percentage at 40.7 and 28th in rebounds per game at 42.2. Felder is tops in the country with 8.9 assists per game, fifth in the NCAA in points per game with 24.6 and eighth in minutes per game at 37.1. Max Hooper ranks third in the country in 3-pointers made per game with 4.11.

INSIDE THE MATCH-UP
The Huskies enter the game with a 7-2 record, including 5-0 at home. Andrew Andrews leads the Pac-12 in scoring with 21.0 per game and Dejounte Murray averages 13.9 points and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game. This will be the first match-up between the two schools.

SPECIAL KAY
Junior Kay Felder is cementing himself as one of the best players in the NCAA after being named the Horizon League Preseason Player of the Year and the Lute Olson Award Preseason Watch List, given to the nation's top player who has played at least two seasons. He began the season with five-straight games of 20-plus points and 10-plus assists. Felder surpassed 1,000 points earlier this season and currently ranks 28th in school history. He also cracked the top-10 on the Horizon League's all-time assist list.

Martez Walker MAKES DEBUT
Redshirt sophomore Martez Walker is eligible to play in his first game of the season. He transferred from Texas and walked on to the team in January of 2015. Walker played 33 games for the Longhorns and averaged 4.7 points per game. He scored 16 points in an NCAA tournament win over Arizona State (3/20/14) and 14 in a loss to Michigan (3/22/14).

PRESEASON RANKINGS
After finishing their second season in the Horizon League with a 11-5 league record and a third-place finish in the standings, the Golden Grizzlies were selected second in this season's Horizon League Preseason Poll. Oakland was also selected No. 14 in the CollegeInsider.com Preseason Mid-Major Top 25 Poll.

947 GAMES AND COUNTING
Greg Kampe has been at Oakland for over three decades and coached the 12th-most games among active Division I coaches. His 32-year tenure at one school is third, behind Syracuse's Jim Boeheim (40 seasons) and Duke's Mike Krzyzewski (36 seasons). The Defiance, Ohio native has 541 wins, tied for 18th among active D1 coaches.

SOPHOMORE SENSATIONS
Redshirt Sophomores Jalen Hayes and Nick Daniels return for the Golden Grizzlies after being named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team last season. Hayes averaged 11.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in league play. He was named Horizon League Freshman of the Week a league-best seven times last season. Daniels led the league with a .486 field goal percentage from beyond the arc.

NEW FACES MAKING AN IMPACT
The newest members of the Golden Grizzlies have already made a significant impact on the season. Percy Gibson has three double-doubles this season and is averaging 15.9 points and 8.8 rebounds. Sherron Dorsey-Walker nearly averages a double-double with 10.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Brad Brechting leads the team in blocks and scored 12 points against Alcorn State.

Oakland will host the No. 1 ranked Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday from the Palace of Auburn Hills starting at 7 p.m.
